How to get here

To fully explore the Marche region, some form of private transport is needed. If you are travelling by train or decide to fly in, car rental services are available locally.

By car
From the A14 Adriatic Autostrada (E55), take the Ancona Nord exit. When you reach the roundabout, take the SS76 following the signposts to Rome/Iesi. After a 20 min drive, take the offramp at Castelplanio/Cupramontana and follow the signs leading to Castelplanio (“Paese Vecchio” – the old town on the hill). We’ll come to meet you in the main square and then you’ll follow us for the last 2 km to Villa Castelplanio. 

By train/bus
The best point of arrival is Ancona Railway Station. At the square in front of the station, there’s a car rental service. From Ancona, it’s a 50 min drive to reach Castelplanio.

By air
Fly to Ancona (Aereoporto di Ancona). Several car major rental companies have offices at the airport terminal. On exiting Ancona airport, take the SS76 motorway south following the signs to Rome. It only takes about 30 min to get from the airport to Castelplanio by car.
